Chris M. Giroux, CMFC, is Vice President and Director of Investment Management Research of United Capital Management of Kansas, Inc. and has worked in the investment industry since 1997.  He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and has earned the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) designation and holds the following licenses: General Securities Representative (Series 7), Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63), Uniform Investment Adviser (Series 65), Kansas Agent's Life Insurance License, and Kansas Agent's Variable Contracts License.

Chris's responsibilities include researching and evaluating investment managers, building and maintaining knowledge base of investment managers, rating managers, drafting research notes on investment managers, recommending best-in-class investment managers to consultants and clients; attending client meetings; performing essential data collection as well as running quantitative models to analyze investment portfolios. 

Chris and his wife, Rachelle, were married in 1996.  They have two beautiful children, Olivia 11,and Gavin 7.  Chris spends his free time coaching his daughter's soccer and fast-pitched softball teams.  He also enjoys skiing, snowboarding, softball, music and being outdoors with his family.
